The Rain Boot
Runs true to size
The details
Waterproof natural rubber, moulded as one piece from the sole to the collar. Elasticated collar so it pulls on and stays put. Low ankle cut, so it reads as a shoe rather than a wellington. Anti-slip lugged outsole. Removable cushioned insole.
Fit
True to size for most feet. The forefoot is cut roomy and the collar is elastic, so wide feet and high insteps are normally fine. If you are between sizes, or you plan to wear thick wool socks all winter, take the larger size.
Measure your foot in centimetres and use the size guide above rather than guessing from another brand.
Care
Rinse with cold water and wipe dry. Air them away from radiators and direct heat, which dries rubber out. Take the insole out overnight after a long wet day. Store upright rather than folded.

Construction
No seams. Nowhere for water to get in.
Most waterproof boots are cut, stitched, then sealed along the seam. The seal is the part that fails, usually in the second season, usually at the flex point where your foot bends.
This boot has no seam to fail. The upper and the sole are moulded as a single piece of rubber, so water has nothing to find.
- Moulded in one piece, not stitched and sealed
- Nothing to peel, crack along a seam, or wear through
- Elasticated collar, so no gap at the ankle
Before you ask
The questions everybody asks
Straight answers, including the ones that are not flattering.
Are these actually waterproof, or just water-resistant?
Waterproof. The upper and the sole are one moulded piece of rubber with no stitched seam anywhere, so you can stand in a puddle rather than step carefully around it. The only way in is over the top of the collar.
I have wide feet. Will they fit?
Usually yes. The forefoot is cut generously and the collar is elasticated rather than stitched tight, so wide feet and high insteps go true to size for most people. Measure your foot in centimetres and use the size guide. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one.
Do your feet get sweaty in rubber boots?
If you wear them barefoot on a mild day, yes. Rubber does not breathe. That is true of every rubber boot, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Wear a cotton or wool sock, take the removable insole out overnight, and it is a non-issue.
Will they keep me warm in winter?
They are unlined, which is exactly why they are light enough to walk in all day and wearable in September. For cold weather, order one size up and wear a thick wool sock. That combination is warmer than most lined boots and it does not trap damp for the rest of the year.
Am I going to slip on wet pavement?
The outsole is a deep lugged tread cut to push water sideways instead of trapping it under the foot. It is designed for wet stone, tile and pavement. It is not a hiking sole and we are not going to pretend it is one.
What if I order the wrong size?
Send them back within 30 days, unworn and in the box, and we refund you. Sizing is the single most common reason rain boots go back, so we would rather you measured first and kept them.

Still unsure? Write to us and a person will answer.
How long does delivery take?
Free worldwide shipping on every order, tracked. Delivery in 10–18 business days depending on your location. You get the tracking number the moment the boot leaves the warehouse.
How do I know which size to order?
Measure your foot rather than guessing. Stand on paper with your heel at a wall, mark your longest toe, and measure the distance in centimetres. Match that to the size guide on the product page. Between sizes, go up.
Can I wear them in snow?
They are waterproof, so slush and wet snow are fine with a wool sock. They are not insulated and they are ankle height, so they are not a deep-snow winter boot. We would rather say that than have you find out.
How do I look after them?
Rinse with cold water, wipe dry, and air them away from radiators. Heat is what dries rubber out and cracks it. Store them upright.
What is your returns policy?
30 days from delivery. Unworn, in the original box. That includes returns because the size was wrong.
